Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty License: NMTCB or ARRT (N) required at time of hire Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Experience in general Nuclear Medicine, PET, and cardiac studies - Knowledge of various therapies such as Y90s, Luthathera, and Pluvicto - Skills in QA, venipuncture, and scheduled exam protocol review Description: The technologists in this role cover general Nuclear Medicine, PET, and cardiac studies. The department also performs various therapies including Y90s, Luthathera, and Pluvicto. Unit doses are provided daily by an outside radiopharmacy. Normal operating hours are from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Other daily duties include quality assurance, venipuncture, and scheduled exam protocol reviews. Candidates must possess either NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification at the time of hire. Preferred experience includes ER, adult ICU, phlebotomy, and radiation planning therapy. Familiarity with Epic or Cerner is preferred.
