We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Intern at our Granite City facility. Requirements:
Support the management and maintenance of the quality systems critical to ISO/QS 9000 and API certifications
Assist with the formulation and maintenance of quality control standards and objectives
Collaborating with research and process technology engineers to investigate and propose solutions to internal/external customer quality issues
Assisting with development and delivery of quality-control training
Travel to operating facilities is expected
All plant activities require a Safety-First work attitude
Incumbent is expected to attend conferences within the field of expertise
Candidates must be a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or related field
Candidate must have a minimum GPA of 2.8
Candidates must be a current student and have completed their sophomore year by June 2027 and be in good academic standing
Be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
